Multimedia Specialists transform usually static visual communication and advertisements into dynamic, interactive immersed media with sound and movement utilizing computers.
In this course, the student will generate original electronic media, perform animation utilizing Flash technology, implement the creation of a website, and produce computer based advertising compact discs. Students will also learn: * Creation of desktop movies and videos, * achieving the correct camera shot, * writing storyboards, * and editing videos.
At the end of this course the student will have a working knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, Professional DVCAM, Adobe Premiere Pro, and Flash.
Students will create the following deliverables for themselves or a chosen Business:
- Complete print identity package (logo, business cards, letterhead, envelopes)
- Complete promotional website
- Complete Flash-based animation or self-promotional piece
- Complete promotional digital commercial and short video project
- Pieces created specifically for portfolio presentation
